1. Scope
This draft explains how Phantom may collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information through its public website, forms, future accounts, products, courses, and organization services.
2. Information collected
Phantom may collect information you provide, including name, email, organization, optional phone number, product interests, inquiry details, account details, billing records, support communications, course activity, and content uploaded to a Phantom service. Only information reasonably needed for the requested service should be collected.
3. How information is used
- Respond to contact, beta, partnership, pricing, demonstration, and support requests.
- Create and maintain accounts and provide requested products or courses.
- Process approved payments and maintain transaction records.
- Protect accounts, investigate abuse, and improve reliability.
- Send marketing updates only where consent or another lawful basis applies.
- Develop and improve services using appropriately governed information.
4. Customer content and ownership
Customers retain ownership of the original documents, business records, course work, and other information they upload. Phantom receives only the rights needed to host, process, protect, and provide the requested service under the final Terms of Service.
5. AI-assisted features
Where AI features are offered, inputs and outputs may be processed by approved service providers. Users should avoid sensitive or confidential information unless appropriate protections exist. Final policy must explain whether and how data is used to improve services or models.
6. Third-party providers
Phantom may rely on providers such as Netlify, Stripe, email services, cloud storage, analytics, Google, Microsoft, and AI services. Those providers have their own availability, security, and privacy practices. A final policy should list active providers and applicable disclosures.
7. Analytics and cookies
This website does not currently install advertising trackers. If analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking is added, Phantom should provide any required notice and cookie preferences before activation.
8. Data protection and retention
Phantom plans to use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. No method is completely secure. Final retention periods must be approved for accounts, forms, billing records, support records, course records, and backups. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups where legally and technically necessary.
9. Access, export, correction, and deletion
Subject to applicable law and technical availability, users may request access, correction, export, or deletion of their information. Identity verification may be required. Some records may be retained for security, legal, tax, dispute, or backup purposes.
10. International use and children
Product availability may vary by location. Paid Phantom Education courses are currently described for United States customers only. Final policies must define age requirements and any child-privacy controls before services are offered to minors.
11. Contact and changes
An approved privacy contact address must be published before launch. Material policy changes should be communicated as required by law, with an effective date and version history.
